By accessing this website, using our SMS-based game services, creating a session, joining a session, or communicating with us via text message, you agree to these Terms & Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and the SMS User Agreement below.
1. OVERVIEW OF THE SERVICE
The Hunt is an interactive, crime-themed/murder-mystery entertainment experience delivered primarily via SMS text messaging. The Hunt may include game sessions (“Sessions”) where users participate through text-based prompts, storylines, and actions. The Hunt is provided for entertainment purposes only.
2. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 13 years old to create or host a Session. Players under 13 may only participate with approval and supervision of a parent/guardian. By using The Hunt, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
Age-Restricted Content & Eligibility
The Hunt Mobile is intended for use only by individuals who are thirteen (13) years of age or older. By accessing or participating in any game, registering on our website, or opting in to receive SMS messages, you represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old.
Nature of Content
The Hunt Mobile is an interactive, fictional, crime-themed experience that may include references to criminal activity, murder, or investigative roles as part of gameplay. The content is narrative in nature and does not include graphic violence; however, it is designed for a mature audience.
Age Verification
Age eligibility is confirmed through self-attestation during the opt-in or registration process. 3. USER ACCOUNTS & SESSIONS
3.1 Hosting a Session: When a host creates a Session, we may collect: Host name, Host phone number, Selected theme, Start date/time and session duration. The host receives a Session Code, which can be shared with guests.
3.2 Joining a Session: Guests may be required to provide: Name, Phone number, Session Code. Guests join the experience through SMS.
4. PAYMENTS, CHECKOUT & SESSION ACTIVATION
4.1 Checkout Links & Payment Window: Some Sessions require payment to activate the experience. The host will receive a checkout/payment link. Payment must be completed within 24 hours of creating the Session, or the payment link may expire.
4.2 Pricing: Prices are shown during the theme selection and session creation process. Prices may vary by theme.
4.3 No Chargebacks Abuse: Unauthorized chargebacks, fraud attempts, or payment disputes made in bad faith may result in termination of access and blocking future Sessions.
5. REFUNDS / CANCELLATIONS
Because The Hunt is an on-demand digital entertainment service: All payments are final once the Session is activated. Refunds are not guaranteed. We may provide refunds at our discretion for technical issues. To request support, contact: info@thehuntmobile.com
6. ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY
- Abuse or harass participants
- Send threats, hate speech, or illegal content
- Attempt to exploit the Service, API endpoints, or payment process
- Disrupt Sessions using automated scripts or spam
- Impersonate others, submit false info, or misuse phone numbers
7. CONTENT DISCLAIMERS (MATURE THEMES)
The Hunt may include fictional crime/mystery themes. Content may reference fictional violence, deception, or suspense elements. This is fictional entertainment only and should not be used for real-world guidance or safety decisions.
8. SERVICE AVAILABILITY
The Hunt may be unavailable due to maintenance, network carrier issues, or system downtime. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, timely message delivery, or carrier reliability.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent allowed by law, The Hunt and its owners shall not be liable for: SMS delivery failures, damages from downtime, lost Sessions due to incorrect Session Code usage, user behavior during Sessions, or indirect damages.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All software, game logic, themes, brand graphics, and experience designs are owned by The Hunt. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or resell The Hunt’s content without written permission.
11. TERMINATION
We reserve the right to terminate access to any user or phone number for suspicious activity, fraud, abusive behavior, or violations of these Terms.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
